Patient Lifting, Moving, and Stabilization for the EMS Provider

On completion of this training participants will be able to identify and plan safe and effective ways to move, extricate and secure patients using commercial and improvised devices for lifting, stabilization, and transport of a patient. Participants will reference applicable protocols and SOG’s for use of extrication devices, mechanical stretchers safely and the use of commercial and improvised splinting and stabilization devices including Pelvic Binder.
